Marketplace Safety & Transactions
FreeTheGram helps buyers discover items and send order requests to creators. An order request is not a completed sale, and it does not charge you.
Buyer and seller arrangements
Before accepting or fulfilling a request, the buyer and seller should confirm the item, condition, availability, final price, shipping or pickup details, and payment method directly with one another. A seller’s acceptance begins their conversation; it does not mean payment has been collected or fulfillment has started.
FreeTheGram does not process or hold payment, inspect items, verify every seller or listing, or guarantee that a transaction will be completed as described. Contact the seller through the order conversation if anything is unclear, and do not pay until you are comfortable with the item and arrangements.
Protect your information and safety
- Do not send passwords, verification codes, full payment-card details, bank credentials, or your home address in an order note.
- For an in-person exchange, choose a public, well-lit location, arrange the details in advance, and consider bringing someone you trust.
- Inspect an item before completing an in-person payment when practical. For shipped items, agree with the seller on shipping, timing, and how questions or problems will be handled before paying.
- Be cautious of pressure to act immediately, overpayment/refund requests, gift-card or wire-transfer demands, and requests to move to an unfamiliar payment or messaging service.
- If an offer or meetup feels unsafe, stop communicating and do not proceed.
