Privacy Policy
Your privacy is our priority. We don't collect or sell your data.
Last Updated: March 3, 2026
No Data Collection
We don't track, analyze, or collect your personal data
No Data Selling
Your data is never sold, shared, or monetized
Your Content, Your Control
You own your photos and can delete them anytime
Our Commitment
The Right of the People is built on a simple principle: your photos belong to you, not us. We don't believe in surveillance capitalism, data mining, or selling user information. This privacy policy reflects our core values.
What We Don't Do
- No tracking cookies: We don't use analytics, tracking pixels, or third-party cookies to monitor your behavior (the only cookie is the login cookie described below)
- No data selling: We will never sell, rent, or share your personal information with advertisers or data brokers
- No behavioral profiling: We don't build profiles about you or analyze your activity for advertising purposes
- No third-party ads: We don't serve advertisements or allow third-party ad networks on our platform
- No algorithmic manipulation: We don't use algorithms to manipulate what you see or keep you engaged longer
Login Cookie
This site does not use tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies. The one exception is a login cookie: when you sign in, we set a single first-party cookie named ftg_session. It keeps you signed in, is only sent to this site, cannot be read by page scripts (HttpOnly), lasts up to 30 days, and is removed when you sign out. Visitors who are not signed in receive no cookies. The cookie is never used to track you or build a profile.
Optional Personalization
We may later offer a content and market algorithm. It will be strictly opt-in and off by default, you will be able to turn it off at any time, and it will never involve selling your data.
What We Store
To provide our service, we store only the essential information needed for the platform to function:
- Account information: Your email address, display name, shop name, notification email, and a hashed password (required for login)
- Your photos: Images and videos you upload or import from Instagram
- Social interactions: Your follows, comments, and likes (to enable social features)
- Print-provider keys: If you tick “Remember this key” when connecting Printify or Gelato, we store that key encrypted so you can update your products later. You can forget it any time in My Shop
- Instagram connection: If you import from Instagram, we store an access token to sync your content (you can disconnect anytime)
Your Rights
- Delete your account: You can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time
- Remove content: Delete individual photos, comments, or any content you've posted
- Export your data: Download all your photos and data in a portable format
- Disconnect Instagram: Revoke Instagram access and stop syncing at any time
Security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your account and content. Your password is encrypted, and we use secure connections (HTTPS) for all data transmission. However, no system is 100% secure, and we encourage you to use a strong, unique password.
Instagram Import
When you import content from Instagram, we download your photos and videos to our servers to ensure they remain accessible even if you delete them from Instagram. We store an access token to enable syncing, but we never access your Instagram account without your explicit permission. You can disconnect Instagram at any time from your profile settings.
Changes to This Policy
If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will notify users via email and update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We will never make changes that compromise our core commitment to not collecting or selling user data.
Contact Us
If you have questions about this privacy policy or how we handle your data, please contact us at help@freethegram.net.
Marketplace Orders
The market does not process payments. When you send an order request, we store your name, email, request details, and private-chat messages so the seller can respond. Order and chat notifications are sent by email through Resend, which processes that message data. Payment happens outside the site, directly with the seller.
